On 30 January 2025, Samarpan Jan Kalyan Sangathan Trust organized a voluntary blood donation camp on the occasion of Shaheed Diwas to honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes. The event took place at Harmilap Dharmashala, Roorkee and witnessed enthusiastic participation from community donors, volunteers, and notably, MAMC students who volunteered their time and energy.
The camp was inaugurated by Ramkrishna Ramseth, Commanding Officer of 84 Uttarakhand Battalion NCC, Roorkee, with distinguished guests including Dr. Suresh Kaushik and Dr. Manisha Aggarwal from Civil Hospital, Roorkee. The initiative was supported by Adani Group, the Indian Medical Association (IMA), and several community volunteers.
A remarkable response was seen with over 190 units of blood collected to help patients in need, and donors were honored with certificates as a token of appreciation. This event underlined the significance of community service and the impact of youth involvement in life-saving causes
