A huge free medical camp was organized by Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Roorkee at village Sikrora Bhagwanpur. In this camp organized under Swasthya Rakshanam programme, health checkup of more than 150 patients was done and free medicines were distributed. The number of patients suffering from eye diseases and diabetes was found to be high in this area. Apart from this, women’s diseases like anemia, white leucorrhoea, back pain were found.In the camp, ophthalmologist Dr. Aarti Pawar, general practitioner Dr. Lata Arya, surgeon Dr. Rakhi Joshi, Panchakarma specialist Dr. Sapna Biswas to attend to joint pain and back pain. Physiotherapist Dr. Sohan Lal, Chief Pharmacist Mr. Lokesh Dauriyal, Pathologist Mr. Jackson J. Nath, Nursing staff Sapna and Swati, Intern Dr. Shubham, Aman Anuj and final year students of Ayurveda showed their participation.

Camp administrator Dr. Abhishek Saxena encouraged various patients for Ayurvedic treatment. On this occasion, Dr. Nitin and Ayurveda students Rao Fazil and Osama showed their participation in making arrangements in case of huge crowd. To realize the dream of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take Ayurveda to every home, Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College has become a major promoter of Ayurveda medical system in this area and a large number of people are availing the benefits
