Under the guidance of Director General Prof.(Dr.) Narender Sharma Department of Dravyaguna of Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Roorkee organised a two day educational trip to Kaudia Forest Reserve, Kanatal, Uttarakhand for BAMS batch 2021-22 on 15th and 16th December 2023. The trip was leaded by Prof. and H.O.D, Dravyaguna department Dr.Kanu Ohri along with Dr. Ranjana Jaisingh (Associate professor) and Dr.Swati Jagotra(Assistant professor) with Physiotherapist Mr. Sohan Lal.
Around 38 students from Batch 2021-22 did trekking to Kaudia Forest Reserve to study high altitude plants where they identified plants like Daruharidra, Thuner, Devdar, Buransh, Manjistha, Saariva, Paashanbhed, Kantkari, Dhataki and many other plants.
Students also enjoyed the mesmerizing view of Dhanaulti mountains and snow peaks, bonfire and danced to the beat.
