Taking ahead the campaign of “Drug Free Devbhoomi”initiated by Uttarakhand Government, Department of Agad Tantra evum Vyavharayurveda of Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College organized an awareness lecture about commonly used Narcotic drug “Bhaang”(Cannabis sativa) on 21/11/2023. Programme was held by Prof.(Dr.)Geeta Joshi, H.O.D and Nodal officer, Dr. Deepshikha Raturi (Assistant professor) and Dr.Shalini Jaiswal ( Assistant professor). Prof.(Dr.) Kanu ohri, H.O.D. Dravyaguna department guided students about identification and harmful effects of Bhaang along with herbal garden visit. She also described the medicinal usage of Bhaang.Students from batch 2020-21 and 2021-22 were present in the lecture.
