World Anatomy day is observed on 15th October of every year to honor Anatomist Andreas Vesalius. Remembering all the Anatomist including Acharaya Sushrut. Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Roorkee celebrated this occasion on 17th October.The program was hosted by Rachna shareer department headed by Prof. (Dr.)Anita M. Lohokare, Dr. Nandini Mishra (Associate Prof), Dr. Swati Rawat ( Assistant professor), Dr. Sandeep Kumar (Assistant professor) and Dr.Akanksha Gupta( Assistant professor). The programme was inaugurated by Principal of Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College Prof.(Dr ) Abhishek Bhushan Sharma and Professors of various departments namely Dr.Kanu Ohri, Dr. Geeta Joshi, Dr. Sunita Fonia. In this programme various competitions were held like Rangoli competition, body painting competition, PPT competition and Model competition.
Judges were namely Prof.(Dr) Kanu Ohri, Prof.(Dr.) Geeta Joshi, Prof.(Dr) Sunita Fonia, Dr.Sandhya Pathak Dr. Abhishek Saxena and Mr. Sohan Lal.
In Rangoli competition first winner was,l Sarvangi and group, second was Mitali and group and third was Abdul Kadir and group.
In Body painting competition Lavkesh and group stood first, Aastha and group stood second and Rohan jhadav stood third.
In PPT presentation Graciya stood first, Shekhnag stood second and Aastha stood third.
In model competition, first was Mitali and group, second was Priyal and group and third was Shree shabnam and group.
Principal Prof.(Dr ) Abhishek Bhushan Sharma appreciated the efforts of students and made the students aware about the importance of anatomy & inspire them to study the subject sincerely and thoroughly.
Participants and other faculty members were also rewarded.
