October Month is being observed as Breast Cancer awareness month globally. On this occasion, faculty of Prasuti Tantra and Stri Rog Department of Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College and hospital Roorkee, Prof. (Dr.) Manjushree Ghorpade, Dr. Pallavi Vaman(Associate Prof), Dr. Urvi Kaushik(Assistant professor) organized a Breast Cancer awareness programme on 4th October 2023. In this programme, various students participated and talked about causes, treatment, precautions and prevention from breast cancer in females.
Students from Batch 2020-21 namely Niharika, Raghav, Vishakha,Anchal, Arup,Neeraj, Anshika and many others presented their views on various topics of breast cancer.
On this occasion Principal Prof.(Dr.) Abhishek Bhushan Sharma made aware about the alarming rate of breast cancer in India and how we can prevent the same.
